Shunsuke Nakamura (born in Yokohama, June 24 1978) Shunsuke Nakamura is a Japanese football player. He plays as a midfielder. Nakamura currently strengthening Espanyol in the Primera Liga (Spain), having previously strengthened Celtic FC Scottish Premier League in Scotland.
He is known to have an accurate free kick and creating opportunities for smart colleagues. Nakamura is often criticized because it is considered not strong enough physically, but since playing in Europe he has a lot of people fix bugs in this field.
Since the call entered the Japanese national soccer team for the first time in 2000, Nakamura has played in 62 games and scored 16 goals for his country (as of October 29, 2006).
