Park Ji-sung (born in Goheng, Jeollanamdo, South Korea, February 25, 1981) is a football player who plays as a midfielder in the English club Manchester United.


His international career began at the age of 18 years as a defensive midfielder. When Guus Hiddink as coach of South Korea, Park is positioned as a wing midfielder. Since then, Park has become a player who can play in various positions, from wing-back to central midfield. Park Ji Sung in Manchester United's earned the nickname Three-lungs Park or the Park with three lungs. The nickname arose because in the game, Park Ji Sung has always played an aggressive, dedicated, moves around the field with a steady pace during the game.
